Adrenaline enshrined in metal
Thai metal heads get to rock on Friday (May 5) as concert promoter Indy Pop brings to Bangkok American leading deathcore band Whitechapel, New York metalcore veterans Earth Crisis, and Australian deathcore outfit A Night In Texas to Live RCA for “Adrenaline Bangkok 2017”.
Whitechapel is an American deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee, consisting of Phil Bozeman, bassist Gabe Crisp, drummer Ben Harclerode, and guitarists Ben Savage, Alex Wade and Zach Householder. The band is named after the Whitechapel district in East London, England, referencing the series of murders committed by Jack the Ripper. Founded in 2006 by Bozeman and Savage, the band has released six studio albums, 11 music videos and is currently signed to Metal Blade Records.
The band is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary as a band and is on the road to support “Mark of the Blade”, its sixth studio album.
Earth Crisis is an American metalcore band from Syracuse, New York, which was active from 1989 to 2001 and reunited this year. The line-up features vocalist Karl Buechner, guitarists Scott Crouse and Erick Edwards, bassist Ian Edwards and drummer Dennis Merrick.
The band has released eight studio albums, three compilations, two live albums and six music videos. Earth Crisis is known for supporting animal rights, promoting a straight edge and vegan lifestyle, and addressing social and political issues. Their music is also a wake-up call to personal empowerment and responsibility.
A Night In Texas was initially formed in 2010 and released its debut demo in 2011. Signed with Australian record label, Skull And Bones Records since 2013, they relocated to Brisbane city and embarked on a 19-date national tour in with label-mates I Shall Devour.
