High-end fashion accessories brand Phya has been busy in recent years building its reputation for bags that enhance elegance and its praises were sung recently by celebrities Pimpisa “Pear” Chirathivat, Janetira “Jane” Attaskulchai, and Ployvarin “Pang” Songpakorn who revealed why they chose Phya’s bags to mix and match with their outfits.

“My style is not sexy. I like to mix and match and pick items that help to enhance my figure. I have a small waist but larger hips, so I stick with high-waisted trousers or a dress that enhances the waistline. I also like wearing a loose T-shirt and flared trousers with a corset as this accentuates my waist and gives me a more interesting look,” Pimpisa said.
“My favourite Phya bag is the Glen design crossbody chained bag, which has an upside down trapezoid shape. I chose the red one today as it matches my shoes.”
Pimpasa also likes the Adele, an elegant crossbody bag that comes in a modern square shape with more capacity and space. It’s created from premium leather and finished with a crossbody chain from Italy.
Janetira loves the Olivia, a classic boxy shape crocodile handbag with handles that’s as practical as it is elegant. It comes with a special lightweight metal stand and a hexagon beehive lock and is available in burgundy, royal blue and classic black.
“I normally go for minimal style. I focus on choosing outfits for their tailoring and of fabric. I wear accessories such as rings and earrings sometimes. But I tend give priority to shoes and bag. I like the shoes and bag to stand out. I like wearing a black dress and shoes with Olivia bag in blue and green,” she said.
Ployvarin said “Mostly, I go for black and white outfits, usually easy-wear pieces such as maxi dress or jumpsuit. I’m not into clothing with many details or bold colours. I focus on choosing shoes and handbags because they can complete my look.”
Playvarin chose the Liv, a vegetable-tanned leather handbag with a boxy shape. It comes in two styles: the One Colour, in a monotone one with the leather edge in a solid opposite colour – for example, black with a white edge; and the Two Toned, which uses colour-blocking tone such as black and red.
“I like its elegant and minimal design and classic colours and find the removable strap very handy. Moreover, it’s not too large. It’s lightweight but can take a lot of stuff”.
