Thaweesin Diamond puts glitter in teen eyes

Siblings Thawatchai and Pathumporn Suttisrisawat of Thaweesin Diamond have given diamond jewellery innovative modern and stylish designs to attract the younger generation.

Pathumporn says they’re seeking to take the family business to the next level.
“Our original jewellery store at Mah Boon Krong has been operating since the mall opened in 1987. My father started out selling gold jewellery and later added diamonds. I stepped in after graduation and have been working there for two years now.
“This year we’re expanding to accommodate our growing customer base. We’ve earned trust and acceptance from both local and overseas customers over the past 30 years. They know they can count on high quality because we give warranty certificates for after-sales services as well as diamond grading certificates from the international recognised Gemological Institute of America and others.
“Our diamonds are high in clarity, sparkling and shining brilliantly under the light,” Pathumporn says. “They’re from Belgium, which is well known for cutting the world’s best-quality diamonds.
“We also have our own factory and highly experienced craftsmen producing 18K white-gold housings, which allows us to offer one-stop service for customers who want to change the designs of their jewellery.”
The firm has a new store on the third floor of MBK where the focus is on modern designs that will especially appeal to teens and first-jobbers. The prices are affordable thanks to the use of smaller diamonds in large pieces. Just the same, the earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings reflect women of intelligence and sophistication.
