Health-conscious Thais are keenly sampling the American vegetable-fruit concoction Jamba Juice at its first outlet in Thailand, opened by importer King Food Group at Siam Paragon.

Group president Ausanee Mahagitsiri Leonio says Jamba Juice is America’s No 1 fruit-and-vegetable smoothie and juice brand thanks to its great taste and healthful properties.

Only high-quality fruit and veggies are used, free from artificial preservatives, colouring and additives.

The smoothies and juices can be further enriched and enhanced with Jamba Boosts, which add protein, vitamins and anti-ageing ingredients.

“Jamba Juice answers the needs of people of every lifestyle, especially working people, who need to be active and require energy recharges in a short period of time,” King Food Group said in a press release.

“The menu offers a wide variety of products with prices ranging from Bt110 to Bt180. Jamba Juice is positioned as a premium offering of blended-to-order fruit- and veggie-based smoothies, juices and bowls that taste delicious and provide optimal health benefits.”

The smoothies are custom-blended with fruit, veggies, sherbet or non-fat frozen yoghurt as well as nutritional boosts such as chia seeds, spinach, proteins and antioxidants. Customer favourites are Classic Strawberry Dream and Classic Banana Berry.

Juice Blends are combinations of freshly juiced and blended fruits and veggies full of the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants important for daily health and energy. The highlight here is Tropical Greens, which is a delicious blend of spinach, pineapple and apple.

Energy Bowls are high-protein meals or snacks mingling fruit, yoghurt, granola and other natural ingredients. Berry Acai Bowl is inspired by the South American tropical rainforest with an acai base full of antioxidants, fibre, vitamins and minerals.

The Boost menu includes Chia Seeds, full of fibre to aid with digestion, Whey Protein to build muscle, and Multivitamins and Minerals, with 13 types of vitamins.

The opening of Thailand’s first Jamba Juice on May 25 drew celebrities including Nualphan Lamsam, Orawan Ingkhasit, Suthanya and Jutipong Boonsoong, Santima Devahastin, Pailin and Chanond Ruangkritya, Sorat Amatyakul, Apinara Srikanchana, Ingfah Damrongchaitham and Varit Hongsananda.
