JC got it muddled up again?

Re: “Mindless, anti-Trump propaganda”, Have Your Say, June 4.

JC Wilcox is being equally mindless if he believes that all Trump critics are the naive swallowers of fake news and mindless propaganda.  The case against The Donald is what comes out of his own mouth.  Totally ignorant of world affairs, he stumbles from one posture to another on any subject you care to mention.
On domestic policy, he believes the economic nonsense that coal has a serious future in producing energy and that he can create millions of jobs even as the microchip is destroying them daily.
The president of the US can't even spell properly and is in trouble reading anything longer than brief bullet points on A4 notepaper.
Of course, there is a defence of Trump. His right-wing agenda, such as the destruction of Obamacare, is pleasing to Republicans in the Senate who will ensure there is no impeachment (for now).  Certainly, Trump has a hard-base in the country.
They include low-paid people on $10 an hour, working at McDonald’s or Amazon without security, who are hoping Trump can deliver prosperity. Who can blame them?
But it is bizarre that Mr Wilcox should personally endorse Andrew Hitchcock, the anti-Jewish extremist of works such as The Synagogue of Satan and Satan’s Banker: Jared Kushner, Trump's influential son-in-law, and his own daughter Ivanka are both Jews!  I can only assume that Mr Wilcox has confused his chosen author with the prolific movie director Alfred Hitchcock.
