More than 20,000 fans turned out to Bitec Bang Na for the last Saturday’s “Chang Friend Fest” concert featuring such big names as Bodyslam, Da Endorphine, Potato, Paradox, Cocktail and Instinct.

Newbies Giraffe Noii and Kord Yim joined Tabasco in opening the show and received loud applause and cheers for their show.

Instinct was the first to come out on stage, performing a medley of hits that including “Khor Thod Huajai”, “Nub Thoi Lang”, “Phid Sanya”, and “Prod Song Khrai Ma Rak Chan Thee” that had the audience singing along. Cocktail kept adrenaline levels high, playing “Chang Man”, “Namta Sudthai”, “Kaln Wela Pisut Khon”, “Ther”, “Khoo Cheewit” and “Khuk Khao.”

Paradox, a band loved for their live performance and costumes, didn’t disappoint and Da Endorphine, the only lady to take the stage this year, showed her charming hoarse vocals on such ballads as “Phap Luangta”, “Nam Tem Kaew”, “Ther Mee Chan Chan Mee Khrai”, “Ya Tham Hai Fah Phid Wang”. After a duet with Pup Potato on “Sing Samkhan,” she handed the stage over to the band for a set that included “Thi Derm”, “Thing Wai Klang Thang”, “Mai Hai Ther Pai”, “Kla Phor Mai” and “Ther Tham Hai Chan” as a new single.

Screams raised the roof as Da Endorphine, Potato and Bodyslam performed the theme song “Rao”, before Bodyslam rocked fans with “Ruea Lek Khuan Oak Jak Fang”, “Ya Pis”, “Khram”, “Ploi”, “Khon Thi Thuk Rak”, “Dhamajati”, “Cheewit Yang Kong Suay Ngam” and “Saeng Sudthai”.

The concert series is now on a nationwide tour, starting at Hat Yai Hall of Central Festival in Hai Yai, Songkhla this Saturday (June 17), then Khon Kaen Hall of Central Plaza in Khon Kaen on June 24, Chaengwattana Hall of Central Plaza in Bangkok on July 1, Chiang Mai Hall of Central Plaza Airport in Chiang Mai on July 15, Central Plaza Rama 2 Hall on July 22, MCC Hall of The Mall Khorat in Nakhon Ratchasima on July 29, Surat Thai Hall of Central Plaza in Surat Thani on August 5, and West Gate Hall of Central Plaza on July 19.
