“This shopping challenge serves as a highlight of our Thailand Shopping & Dining Paradise 2017 campaign and showcases to foreign visitors a variety of shopping options in Thailand. The campaign is purposely organised during the Green Season, from June to September, as this is a time when airlines, department stores and shopping complexes, restaurants and other popular tourist attractions offer discounts and special privileges to shoppers,” says Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
The ‘Top Shopper’ shopping challenge is set to strengthen Thailand’s image as a preferred destination for enticing cuisine, from local street food to fine-dining eateries, and also boost the kingdom’s recognition as one of Asia’s most enjoyable shopping locations.
To mark its partnership with TAT on the Thailand Shopping & Dining Paradise 2017, AirAsia is also offering promotional fares with discounts up to 50 per cent on nine routes: from Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hanoi, Hong Kong and Singapore to Bangkok; and Hong Kong-Chiang Mai, Hong Kong-Phuket, Singapore-Phuket and Singapore-Krabi.
Bookings for the special fares will be available from today until Sunday (June 25), for travel up until November 30, this year.
