After reviewing the cases of 8,691 victims of tetanus in India they found that not a single one of them had been caused by a dog bite. (Google “India tetanus dog bite 8691”). In fact dogs very rarely get tetanus.
So I am very angry that this information was withheld from me when I was recently given a tetanus shot after being bitten by a dog in Chiang Mai. I relayed this information to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in America and their answer was they wouldn’t want me to be the first one to get tetanus from a dog bite. Give me a break!
I want to know how necessary are all these vaccines and what are their potential side effects. I’m convinced we’re not being given all the facts.
