Oh Brother No 1 wants to be back in Thailand. 
The political agenda of the Pheu Thai Party is simple: to absolve Thaksin of all these crimes.

Oh rubbish. The people vote them in. Over and over the people vote them in. And quite frankly, why shouldn’t he be absolved. He has paid Bt37 billion already. The man is adored and the people wanted him back.

That’s why the elite feel so threatened by him. Can’t have someone who the masses like in opposition to the charade created by the military and elitists.
Doesn’t matter who Pheu Thai elect as leader, as they will win the popular vote, the military will either keep control or stage another coup and the Pheu Thai leader will end up facing charges trumped up by the military junta. 
It’s not like Thai politics is unpredictable, or the military or Democrats have any new ideas, like on how to win an election.
