New York brand, Rag & Bone has just opened a new pop-up shop at The EmQuartier.

Running until August 15, the store is conceptualised in line with the brands “quality guaranteed” message, and incorporates key styles from the label’s Pre-Fall 2017 Women’s and Men’s ready-to-wear with jeans and accessories collections, with each piece chosen to reflect the brand’s focus on quality and craftsmanship. Thailand is the first country to have this free-standing pop-up concept.
Notable features of the shop include workmen style benches and tables, a postcard writing station and a lifestyle wall, highlighting the brand’s favourite essentials including limited edition Vuarnet sunglasses, Le Labo candles, tote bags, t-shirts, coffee mugs and Terrariums.
For the Pre-Fall 2017 line, Rag & Bone delves into novelty Americana, juxtaposing themes of retro vacation dressing with soft British tailoring. Across the collection gingham and boardwalk-style palm tree prints are iterated in easy, luxurious cotton fabrications evoking 1970s summertime nostalgia.
Twisting and tying plays with traditional feminine silhouettes in cold-shoulder shirting, jumpsuits and outerwear. Wide leg denim and cupro cotton pant styles appear opposite laser-cut lace dresses and blouses. Vintage Japanese-inspired indigo runs amid a colour palette based in ivory, dusty blue and military dark olive contrasted against a spattering of feminine peach.
Flat-form lace-up and sandal espadrilles play heavily into the collection’s footwear offering, including embroidered and cool neutral colourways. Handbags in bright marigold and walnut leather feature across hip, shopper and crossbody styles.
