Dazzling colours for divers
Following the successful 2016 launch of the Royal Oak Offshore Diver Chronograph, Audemars Piguet has unveiled a collection in a range of fizzing bright and vibrant dial colours and a non-chronograph model in similarly exciting hues.
In Switzerland’s Valle de Joux, numerous masterpieces are created in limited series, each embodying a remarkable degree of horological perfection, including daring sporty models.
The New Royal Oak Offshore Diver features the same octagonal sporty design as its predecessor in a 42mm stainless steel case with glare-proof sapphire crystal and caseback.
It boasts blue rubber-clad screw-locked crowns, the self-winding made-in-house Calibre 3120 and a power reserve of 60 hours.
The traditional “Mega Tapisserie” dial features white-gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating for perfect visibility in or out of the water. Water-resistant to 300 metres, the timepiece has a rotating inner bezel with diving scale and zone from 60 to 15 minutes. The rubber strap, matching the colour of the dial, ensures a fine fit on the wrist.
These latest Funky Colour editions are offered in dark blue, bright orange, acid yellow and lime green for Bt686,900 and a white version fpr Bt657,400.
The dark blue Royal Oak Offshore Diver comes with an additional yellow rubber strap.
