Based in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand’s oldest wine region, Sileni Estate’s large vineyard produced its first vintage in 1998. Since then, the business has grown from a production of 4,000 cases to a remarkable 760,000 cases today, making it one of the fastest growing wineries and counted among the top 10 New Zealand wine producers by production volume. The company distributes wine to more than 80 global markets across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Oceania from its New Zealand headquarters.
The event on Friday night takes guests on a winery tour in the company of Pip Austin, general manager of Australia & Southeast Asia Sileni Estates. He’ll talk about how each wine is made, with the tastings accompanied by Chef Anchalee Ponrungsit’s delectable tapas.

The tapas menu features Foie Gras Pate with Rosella Jelly, Smoked Duck with Vegetable Caponata, Braised Beef Check with Mashed Potato and Char-Grill Chicken Skewer with Peanut Sauce, as well as a selection of cheese & bread plus Tuna Tartar with Wasabi Soy Sauce.
