Tell again: Where does the buck stop?

The Have Your Say column contributors, and those who police the content, have to address and understand matters of balance when it comes to sanctioning sane input counter-balanced with what is downright dotty, like the pro-Trump bile we were subjected to on Friday.

This is deemed to be acceptable, and also bearing in mind that the latter sometimes offers some amusement if you like a good laugh.
That said, the latter-mentioned foolish and revisionist twits often delve into the murky depths of Deep Scat, and as such have to be confronted. Moreover, some of these lost souls proceed on the assumption that if they dump enough guano onto these pages, sensible people will believe them. This, bizarrely, extends to the grossly thawed thesis that the blame for the ruinous fissures he creates lies with everyone else but Trump. But, for example far from “draining the swamp”, he has been busy stocking his cabinet with the amphibians that emerge from it.
The man’s growing list of reprehensible behaviour defies all moral calculus, yet the ignorant insist on flipping the bone in unfocussed defiance. So, allow me to try and force a profound truism into their seemingly impermeable skulls: In terms of the US presidency, the man has to fit the Office, not the other way round.
