Sonchat and Sanchai Ratiwatana are poised to win a home title as they face American Austin Krajicek and Jackson Withrow this afternoon in the final of the US$150,000 EA Hua Hin Open Challenger at True Arena.

The winners of 45 Challenger trophies lived up to the expectations after they upset top pair Alex Bolt and Bradley Mousley 6-4 7-6 (7-5)  in the semi-finals on Saturday.

“We played according to the game plan by managing early break in the first set. It’s not easy to break their serves as they always came up with huge serves on break points,” said Sanchai who have won four Challenger titles with his brother in 2017.

“The final will be tough as one of them is left-handed. Both have good serves and have been playing together for a few months. We need to play solid tennis especially on our serves,” Sonchat said.
