Israel treating a wound being opened ever wider by Palestinian terror

Re: Re: “Jerusalem move has cost more than a dozen lives already” and “Palestinians are barred from Israeli hospitals under apartheid system”, Have Your Say, yesterday.

In typical fashion, Eric Bahrt distorts my words by condemning as false the claim that “ALL Palestinians have adequate healthcare in Israel”. I certainly never claimed any such thing, but I state the fact that Palestinians who are Israeli citizens get Israeli healthcare. Meanwhile, the medical emergencies of West Bank and Gaza residents are dealt with on a humanitarian basis. The Israeli “apartheid” system, as Mr Khoury calls it in his letter, has been treating Palestinian cancer patients, children who would otherwise go blind and many others from those very areas who get life-saving medical help in Israel.
As for Eric Bahrt’s use of the terms “murder” and “slaughter”, I wonder whether they also apply to whole Israeli families, including children and babies, killed in their homes by Palestinians (who he would perhaps call “ freedom fighters”), or to the many thousands of Israeli civilians, both Jewish and Arab of all ages, blown to pieces in Palestinian terror attacks on cafes, schools and buses over the years.
