Robin Grant, like many meat eaters, can’t stop gloating over the fact that excessive amounts of chemicals were found on fruits and vegetables in Thailand.
First of all, that doesn’t have a damn thing to do with vegetarianism and everything to do with the government not doing its job of monitoring the food supply.
More importantly there is a far higher concentration of chemical contamination in meat.
Let’s say a cow ate 5,000 plants in his life. If you eat that cow you are exposed to the chemical poisoning from all those plants. That far exceeds the chemical exposure we face when we directly eat a far smaller number of plants at one meal.
The fact that every argument defending the consumption of animals has been totally refuted means that people like Mr Grant are not interested in the truth.
