Neither side confronts the truth. There were liberals protesting the war for all the wrong reasons and politicians who wanted to control every aspect of the war.
Even with the political interference, the US military won every battle and forced North Vietnam into peace talks.
Western media insist that the US lost the war, when history shows that, after the war was won, Congress cut support to our allies, allowed North Vietnam to re-arm and ignored pleas for help from South Vietnam – a true act of cowardice.
