Kim has Don right where he wants him

You do not need to be a liberal critic to be suspicious of Trump’s proposed meeting with Kim Jong-un.
Steve Bannon, the rabid right winger and former Trump adviser, showed eminent common sense when he stressed that there is no military option on the Korean peninsula. Kim knows that.
John Bolton, another non-liberal, has repeatedly cast doubt on the proposed summit without meticulous preparation. Kim knows that too.
It is comforting to think that sanctions have brought Kim to his knees. Time will show. North Korea will be delighted to enter negotiations that last years as the sanctions against it crumble worldwide.
Kim’s aim is to remain in power decades after Trump has left the world stage and eaten his last big burger.
Kim is a Marxist, Trump sadly prefers the Marx brothers.
