Somsak Pola claims People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) attacks animal rights abuses in Thailand, but not in China.
It just so happens that a few years ago I had dinner with Jason Baker of PETA one night before he was to go to China to talk to an official there about that country’s animal rights problem.
I urge readers to google “PETA China Animal Rights” and they’ll see that Khun Somsak is completely wrong. While I’m all in favour of publishing a variety of opinions, Somsak’s vicious attacks against a reputable organisation should not be tolerated by the editors unless he can back it up, which he can’t.
