Rights abuses blind to religion
It’s refreshing that Nigel Pike finally spoke out against the atrocities committed against the Rohingya Muslims. Of course, he only did so because I noted his hypocrisy in only condemning atrocities by Muslims but not against them.
As for Wilcox, who for years has been writing vicious letters saying horrible things about Muslims, he has yet to respond to my numerous requests in this column to write one word of condemnation against the atrocities being committed in Myanmar.
Both men also totally blame the atrocities committed against the Palestinians on Hamas, while pretending that Israel is completely innocent.
If these two men would join me in condemning all human rights abuses – as opposed to singling out just one religion – they would have more credibility when they claim to care about justice.
