Kim should return the US ship hijacked by his granddad
Re: “N Korea demands return of detained cargo ship”, World, May 15.
Now would be a good time for Donald Trump to ask his super-buddy Kim Jong-un to give us back the ship that his granddad stole from the United States in January of 1968. Kim should also compensate the 82 surviving crew of the USS Pueblo for all they endured, as well as compensating the family of the US Navy man killed in the attack on the ship.
If Kim wants his cargo ship back, he should return the Pueblo in good condition.
The Pueblo is now moored in Pyongyang but remains a commissioned vessel of the US Navy. More than 50 years since it was hijacked, it’s time we got it back!
And if the Pueblo is a sunken wreck, do the same to the North Korean vessel.
