The best bubbles ever!

The last thing Fan Yang wants to hear at his shows this weekend is a sudden pop

One of the more amusing marriages of art and science is "The Gazillion Bubble Show", in which Fan Yang does incredible things with soapy liquid, and we're not talking about massages. In fact, kids get the biggest kick out of Yang's creations, but adults will be wowed too at his Thailand debut this weekend - eight performances at the Muangthai Rachadalai Theatre. New York was the first city to see Yang's soap-bubble magic. He goes beyond shape and dimension to create beautiful pieces of art, in various colours and interacting with spotlights, laser beam and smoke effects. As seen on TV in Japan, Canada and the US - including on the Oprah and Letterman shows - Yang shares a passion he developed as a child growing up in Europe. What began with the sight of bubbles in a brook that shone with all the hues of the rainbow eventually earned him international acclaim and no fewer that 17 Guinness world records."The world's foremost bubble scientist and artist" toured the globe with a stage show that thousands of people saw in museums and science centres. Then he took his act to Broadway."The Gazillion Bubble Show" was at New York's New World Stages theatre for five years, during which time it also travelled to Las Vegas, Tokyo, Seoul, Rome, Russia, Vietnam, Singapore, Turkey, Bahrain and South America.Yang also created a line of toys that employ a "bubble solution", a "secret" formula that enables kids to create their own bubble phenomena.

Good clean fun
