Dual track for children in remote areas

Re: "Tablets cannot cure the cancer in Thai education", Venus' vision, September 3.

This article mentions many fundamental problems of Thai education. One of them is lack of teachers in remote areas, some of which have only one teacher per school. In [this situation it is absurd for] government to hand out tablets to children in grade 1. It should concentrate on creating real quality, especially at Child Development Centres in remote areas. Authorities should use the budget for tablets to provide teachers and learning resources for them combined with the free tablets project.

But this won't be identified as urgent policy. [If the government waits] four years to solve the learning problems in remote areas via IT, it will reduce even further the opportunities children in remote areas should get.
