The “Tah Chon” (“ready to confront”) project focuses on 23-year-old Teerasil’s famed refusal to shrink from any onfield challenge while playing in national colours.
“I take great pride in every game I play for the country. That makes me train hard to improve my skills and build physical strength to give me an edge on the pitch.
“I think our national team is improving. Whichever team we face, we now have a chance to win. My courage on pitch is driven by my desire to make Thai supporters happy.
“The whole country has always been happy when we win a game. Everything looks so rosy. I’ll do my best to earn victories for the team and to become a good role model for younger players,” said Teerasil.
Regarded as the most talented player of his generation, Teerasil further enhanced his fledgling international career by scoring a goal in each of Thailand’s opening World Cup qualifiers last month – a 21 loss to Australia and a 30 win over Oman.
