Ambassador dodged 'Jewish state' issue

It is comforting to hear from the ambassador that, "The State of Israel
But this does not explain the need to acknowledge Israel as a “Jewish state” nor the Israeli obstruction of the application to the UN for recognition of a “Palestinian state”.
After all, Mr Itzhak Shoham signs off his letter with “Ambassador of the State of Israel”.
This should conclude the debate.
