What time constraints? I would have thought that eight weeks’ occupation of Bangkok’s city centre and hate speeches prompting the red masses to burn down Bangkok should have been more than enough to get a taste of what was going on, and to inform viewers accurately about the real content of the red leaders’ speeches and not just the sanitised version the BBC was given in English. Mr Sheppard recommends that those people who are trying to hold the BBC to account for its biased reporting drop the issue and get a life. If the quality of such a life is so modest as to “find both the BBC and CNN to be good sources of up-to-the-minute news events” then I would rather stick to my life as it is.
