Photo ops with little substance

Upon reading about Prime Minister Yingluck meeting with Burma's opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi in Burma, I feel obligated to ask a possibly embarrassing question: What if Burmese leaders were to come to Bangkok to meet with former PM Abhisit? For that

There is something to be said for staying out of the politics of other countries, no matter how illustrious or famous the personages involved might be – and, yes, I am also referring to the Dalai Lama. What is next on the agenda, a meeting with His Holiness?
We all, I hope, want PM Yingluck to succeed at everything, but can anyone else recall the heartburn caused by Cambodian efforts to affect Thai politics?
This point might be worth considering: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. (Unless you are a superpower that feels it can do whatever the hell it wants to.)
