Oscar the man in Tata's future?

Singer and sometime-actress Amita "Tata" Young doesn't have a lot to say about her current love life.

To reporters who asked recently what’s happening, she was terse: “I’m now single, period.”
That might qualify for the “Unlucky at Love” category – and she’s between recording contracts at the moment too – but meanwhile Tata’s acting career is getting a big bounce with a role in her first Hollywood movie, a thriller.
It’s lucky enough that she doesn’t even care that her character gets killed off in the end. “I’m going to Spain in April to start shooting,” she says. “They’re adjusting the script slightly to make the character fit me.
A little chubbier than usual lately (it’s okay – she’s always adorable), Tata is also working hard to adjust her weight to fit the film. “I really want to do my best. This is a golden opportunity, so the money means nothing – I’d do this for free!”
So what’s the movie called? Who are the other stars? She’s not saying, but we have no reason to suspect another dreamed-up scam like Nathan Oman’s star-studded “blockbuster”. Once filming starts, we’ll be hearing from her studio.

Co-producer
Takolkiat “Boy” Veeravarn, the boss at the entertainment firm Exact, has more than a housewife at home in Kannika, known as “Prim”. Her understanding and support is crucial to the running of his Rachadalai Theatre.
“I’m proud of him building the theatre up from scratch, and I know the job can’t be nine-to-five,” she says.
So, as well taking care of their home and children, Prim makes sure Boy and his crew are well fed even at the latest hour. On weekends she arranges special deliveries for them.
Mostly, though, Prim does her best work as a sounding board for Boy when he gets home. “Our main topic is the kids, of course, but he’s so into his work that he talk about it all the time.
“It’s a good thing I know about the theatre!”
