Got 30 babes living with us

The buzz at Chiang Mai's Kantary Hills Hotel is reaching a crescendo ahead of the Miss Thailand World pageant.

All 30 finalists have moved into the hotel for a training camp tomorrow through Monday, so the staff has been pulling out all the stops to keep things perfect.
Kantary corporate group director Wiwat tangjitkobbon had earlier sent out word that anyone else wanting a room at “the Hills” had better book well in advance. Of course some of his employees couldn’t help wondering if the boss was just using the room advisory as an excuse to brag about scoring a major hospitality coup.
If that’s the case, Soopsip reckons, Wiwat can brag all he wants as long as he doesn’t jack up our room rates for the duration of the lovelies’ stay.
The ladies are due back in Bangkok on March 24 for the televised pageant itself.

Nake ambition
Having announced last month that he’s going to quit hosting eight different TV shows, Ketspsawat “Na Nake” Palagawongse Na Ayutthaya is finalising plans for a gradual fade from the small screen.
He’s currently getting details out to his nearly 370,000 fans on Twitter about his final talk show, which will also be his final theatrical “stand-up” production.
“The Naked Show #5 Elegant” will in fact sprawl across five nights, from May 1 to 6, with 555 seats per performance. Opening night will take the form of a gala dinner at the CentralWorld Playhouse.
To make the series more special, Na Nake will autograph every ticket that’s pre-sold. “It’ll be like I’m inviting you personally!” he says.
Interviewed this week on Channel 3’s “Tonight Show”, Na Nake insisted he won’t miss working in front of the camera. And anyway, he said, there’s no reason to think he couldn’t make a comeback if he wished. “No one had heard of me 10 years ago, but I worked my way up. If I ever want to come back, I can start from zero again.”
