Sexy scents of summer
Jean Paul Gaultier pours the colours and aromas of the jungle into his men’s and women’s summer fragrance collection.
Inspired by Gaultier’s spring-summer collection, Classique Summer for the ladies is bathed in the heat of the sun, surrounded with tropical foliage, wild lianas and exotic flowers enhancing sensual curves and with notes of mandarin, lemon, rose, orange blossom, jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily, iris, vanilla, musk and amber.
Le Male Summer has fresh and stimulating aromatic senses from lavender, mint, cardamom, green leaves and grass. Vanilla, sandalwood and musk complete the composition.
The signature bottles are designed in the shape of male and female torsos. Look for them in department stores.
Locked up at Loewe
After designing for Victoria Beckham and Marc Jacobs, award-winning British accessories designer Katie Hillier comes up with Amoza Limited for Spanish luxury house Loewe.
Known for her cute animal jewellery, she’s updated three of Loewe’s best-selling bags, introducing brightly coloured calfskin and charming, animal-inspired hardware.
To celebrate the Year of Dragon, she decorated her bags with a key in the shape of dragon.
The collection is available at Loewe boutiques in Siam Paragon and Gaysorn.
Time beneath the waves
Now Thai watch lovers can magnify time, thanks to Seiko Thailand bringing in the Seiko Domestic Prospex, originally made for the Japan market only.
Prospex is a sporty dive watch with an IP coating on the case for extra durability.
Hands and hour markers on the patterned dial are coated with Lumibrite for optimal legibility in the dark.
The most notable feature is the built-in magnifying glass, which flips off to the side for use in giving things a close examination.
It has Seiko’s 4R35 movement and 45-hour power reserve. Available in black and stainless-steel finish, it’s water resistant up to 100 metres.
