GMM Grammy sets off on a festival tour to promote the change of name of its cable channel
GMM Z, the new name of GMM Grammy’s cable 1 Sky, which was deemed too similar to the UK’s Sky 1, recently organised its first activity, Fun City and showcased its new logo at Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport. The event was the first stop on a festival tour that will take the team to 12 big cities around the country.
With the concept of “Zap Mak Mak”, the first activity took an army of reporters to several temples around Chiang Mai as well as to its popular walking streets on Tha Phae and Wua Lai, before winding up the visit with the music festival.
Performing on stage much to the delight of local fans were Lula, Crescendo, Chin Chinnawut, Zeal, Klear and Playground.
From Chiang Mai, the GMM Z caravan moved on to Udon Thani. They are in Rayong today and tomorrow and will be in Surat Thani on April 21-22.
