Have the courage to speak up

Land Department Director-General Anuwat Methiwiboonwut, who had suggested that the Interior Ministry revoke the land deeds granted illegally to the Alpine golf course and a housing estate, has been moved to an inactive position by his boss, Interior Minis

The Alpine scandal is linked to Minister Yongyuth, Thaksin Shinawatra and ex-Interior Minister Snoh Thienthong. The land had been donated to a temple, and hence cannot be sold. Yet it found its way into the hands of Snoh, then Thaksin.
I salute Anuwat, for Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery was thinking of men like him when he said moral courage is being not afraid to say or do what you believe to be right. How can it not be right to return illegally-acquired land to its lawful owners? Do you think that Thaksin, Snoh and Yongyuth stole the land from the temple? If not, why is the land still in Thaksin’s hands? If they stole from a temple, could they steal from you, dear reader? Dear sir/madam, do you lack the moral courage to speak out?
