The people's flag is deepest red

In response to my request for a boy to blow the whistle on Thaksin’s party, up pops Thida Thawornseth threatening consequences for cosying up to the elite, citing the government loss in the recent by-election. It is very revealing that she says she cannot “order red-shirt supporters to do something they found unreasonable”. The fact that she apparently can order them at all speaks volumes. Could it be that red shirts, buoyed by winning the election for Pheu Thai, feel that they can go it alone? Dr Frankenstein created a monster he could not control. Pheu Thai may have the same dilemma.
