Consumers are still suffering

It seems that the control measure for cooked food - single items like khao kaeng and noodles - set at not more than Bt35 per dish would be impossible.

But I think most vendors will not sell them overpriced, despite their cost of production rising more and more. That’s because if they are met with random checks or consumer complaints, it is a waste of time to clarify the costs of raw materials, rent, wages and overhead to be paid. They also may be arrested and fined including going to court to be questioned. Therefore, they would have to conduct their business by the law. But in the meantime, they also need to survive. If they must face trade losses, why will they sell cooked food? That is, of course, they must reduce the quantity and quality of the food. In summary, even if single dish prices are lower, they would trade off the quality of life for consumers for the worse.
