Punishing the wrong people

Let's see: A Bt400,000 fine and up to seven years in jail for over charging on the somtam, but an attempted rapist at Fashion Island gets a Bt1,000 fine and a slap on the wrist.

Oh, and let’s not forget the folks at the Health Ministry and hospitals involved in the drug shenanigans and the numerous occasions of police corruption resulting in the sending off to an “inactive post”. Imagine them suffering the same fate of the inflationary roti maker.
What the politicians have to do is forget about changes to the Constitution and focus on changing the laws themselves to reflect reality and mete out proper punishments to the real offenders!
