What an insult to the average intelligence, via the foreign minister of all people, to actually say that Thaksin Shinawatra would never exchange national interest for personal interest.
Hello! This has to go down as the most inane, insulting and sycophantic utterance this year. Thailand’s political milieu is a joke and always will be while this unbelievably egotistical and self-serving convicted criminal is stealing all the limelight, and denying the people a proper, honest government. So come on, Thailand, wake up: despite what Thaksin tells you, you already have a democracy. All you need is to get on with your lives, which would be so much easier by ignoring this desperate parasite.
