Denial of bail for Yoswarit was fit and proper

Re: "Yoswarit's bail request rejected", September 5.

This was one of the times that I felt justice has justly been done – the Criminal Court’s rejection on Wednesday of the request of red-shirt leader Yoswarit Chuklom for release on bail.
It was evident Yoswarit breached his last bail conditions by revealing the Constitution Court judges’ names and phone numbers at a political rally and inviting the mob to call them. His actions put the judges’ lives in jeopardy.
This will also serve as a warning to the street mobs that they are not above the law. And that they should take Thaksin Shinawatra as an example.
Thaksin escaped his jail sentence for a corruption case. He defamed the country’s courts and judges. He claims innocence yet refuses to prove it.
Thaksin’s karma has caught up with him when he visited the United States recently and met with strong resistance and was chased away by justice-loving Thais.
A good citizen must always respect the law of his own country. How can a person who does not qualify to be a country’s citizen aspire to be its leader?
