Messi, Ronaldo await for young winners

The long road to one of the world's top sporting events has finally ended, with True True Stadium and We Kick teams securing tickets to watch Barcelona play Real Madrid with their triumphs in the "Chang Road To El Clasico" soccer tournament.

The country’s first ever four-a-side competition is part of a series of activities Chang maker ThaiBev is holding after clinching unprecedented partnerships with the two Spanish sides earlier this year.
The road started nearly three months ago with provincial qualifying in June, before the regional stage in nine provinces delivered 128 top teams to the national finals, on Sunday at Central World.
True True Stadium players, from Phitsanulok province, booked tickets for arguably the most
anticipated battle in football following their victory in the under-20 division.
In the event’s other, “open” category (no age limit), We Kick needed nerves of steel to snatch the coveted prize with a penalty shoot-out after their match against a team from Chon Buri ended 2-2.
The two winning sides will travel to Spain next month for “El Clasico” on October 7 when Barca welcome arch-rivals Real, who ended their three-year stranglehold on the La Liga title last season, at the near-100,000 capacity Camp Nou stadium.
Awaiting the young Thai players will be a mouth-watering clash between the world’s top two players, Barca’s Leo Messi and Portuguese hit-man Cristiano Ronaldo.
“It’s a dream comes true. I never thought I would get this chance to watch one of the biggest matches in club football. I will remember the experience for the rest of my life,” said Praphan Buayam, a member of True True Stadium.
