In training for the marathon

Twenty-one Thai artists will be on stage at Impact Arena next Saturday for the music event of the year

The A-Time studio on the 38th floor of the GMM Grammy building was recently packed out with reporters and artists for the press conference of the “Bangkok Music Marathon 3”. This major event is taking place next Saturday at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani and runs from noon to midnight.
Among the 21 artists contributing to this year’s marathon festival are 25 Hours, The Richman Toy, Tanachai “Pod” Ujjin, Zeal, Jetset’er, Boy Peacemaker, Mild, Blackhead, Lipta, Stamp, Singular, Room 39, Better Weather, Mr Team and Big Ass.
Zeal performed at the press conference, singing “Mai Tong Karn Hen (Bang Khon) Thi Mai Rak Kan”, before joining up with Blackhead’s singer Anond “Poo” Saisangchan for “Song Rak” and “Hetphol”.
“We’ve been involved in the Marathon since its inception back in 2010 and we’re really looking forward to this year’s edition. Along with the other bands, we’ll be ensuring that the music continues non-stop for the entire 12 hours,” said Zeal’s singer Prach “Peck” Pongchai .
“The first year, we jammed with Klear and last year, we joined up with ETC. This year, we’re expecting to play with Mild.”
“It is the first time for us at Bangkok Music Marathon,” Anond commented. “Interestingly, Mr Team will return to the stage after years away from the music scene.”
