Abhisit a draft-dodger? Yes, and Obama's a communist!

And this is the Defence Ministry in a government run by a fugitive convict through an inexperienced sibling PM who defends indefen-sible wheelings and dealings, even quite openly in court. And as if that were not enough, this is a government that appoints as its first deputy prime minister the very master of the sleight of hand when it comes to manipulating military service, military appointments and court decisions in general, and who is actually proud of the fact that everyone in Thailand, even Thaksin Shinawatra himself, is scared to death of him. Our deputy prime minister loves that – he’s number one because he’s got all the dirt on absolutely everybody in the dirtiest government Thailand has ever had.

This slander of Abhisit is as bad as insisting that Barack Obama is not only not American but a Muslim and a communist. I’d reply that being half-Kenyan is where half of Barack Obama’s extraordinary intelligence, courage and moral sensibility comes from, as well as his good looks. I’d also say that nothing would please me more than if Barack Obama really were a Muslim – because even more than a black president, America needs a Muslim president right now. Yes, and one who understands the old communist dream that the world could be a much fairer and more equitable place.

The only person that Thaksin Shinawatra is more afraid of than Chalerm Yoobamrung is Abhisit – and this absurd piece of Defence Ministry character assassination is proof of that.
