A toast to the Royal Project

Twelve of Bangkok's chefs will be cooking up a storm later this month in celebration of a leading trade magazine's anniversary

Narong Roojum, editor of the leading trade magazine, Thailand Restaurant News magazine, is celebrating 12 years of success with a special chairty dinner on December 16 at the Mandarin Oriental’s Sala Rim Naam. The theme is, aptly enough, “12 Chefs 12 Dishes 12 Wines” and there’ll be150 seats, each costing Bt5,000 (excluding VAT). All the proceeds from the event go to the Royal Project.

The 12-course dinner features each of the 12 chef’s signature dishes matched by a quality wine. Participating in the event are Ian Kittichai and Peter Pitakwong from Smith Restaurant, Haikal Johari of the Water Library, Gaggan Anand of Gaggan, Duangporn “Bo” Songvisava and Dylan Jones of Bo.Lan, Vichit Mukura of Sala Rim Naam, Nan Bunyasaranand of Little Beast Restaurant, Zra “Ton” Jiraratana of Aston Gastro Bar, Nattapong “Fang” Nawchoowate from Krua Indy, Danilo Aiassa from L’Ulivo, Win Singhapatkul from Wine I love You & Chocolate Ville and May of After You Dessert Bar, who is the special guest for dessert.
