It is strange that exit polls conducted by Abac, Suan Dusit, Bangkok University and others all gave the lead to Pongsapat Pongcharoen. In line with the 2011 general election, exit polls by those same pollsters all indicated that Pheu Thai would win more seats in Bangkok than the Democrats, but the result was the opposite.
Moreover, before this election, the late Samak Sundaravej was the only candidate for Bangkok governor in history to surpass the million-vote mark, and this time even the runner-up received more than a million.
Instead of mocking the pollsters, the Election Commission should check that the voter turnout agreed with the number of ballot cards. Bear in mind that the purpose of exit polls, among other things, is to check for election fraud.
