Many past quips from Kittiratt Na-Ranong have startled us – a white lie is not a lie, and nor is thinking of sacking Dr Prasarn every day. The latest is pleasant to all Economics 101 students – that “the market mechanism” rules the baht value and not any draconian unnatural measures or the careless call for interest-rate reduction. I don’t know what he has been eating. Like Korn, I like what I see in Kittiratt.
The beauty of his latest stand has given me hope that he will not be rash in future and, for a change, will listen to opposite views. If this is sustainable, his future is so promising that full premiership will flow naturally into his lap.
