An eye on travel

Following in the footsteps of its famous “City Guide”, Louis Vuitton is coming out with more books. The “Louis Vuitton Travel Books” are a hybrid of travel journal and sketchbook.

Illustrations by famous artists and promising young talents portray the stories of the places they have visited, recording the passing days and the lives of their residents.
Four titles have been released: “Easter Island” by Daniel Arsham, “London” by Natsko Seki, “Paris” by Cheri Samba and “New York” by Jean-Philippe Delhomme.
Readers can soon discover Venice through the drawings of manga artist Jiro Taniguchi, as well as Vietnam seen by Italian comics author Lorenzo Mattotti. Leaf through a copy yourself at any Louis Vuitton store.

Dressing for the race
While working up a sweat pedaling through the mountains of Italy, cyclists in this year’s Giro d’Italia are fashionably kitted out in jerseys designed by Paul Smith.
There are four designs, including the iconic “maglia rosa”, the pink jersey worn by the race leader. There’s also the red shirt worn by the rider with the the most general classification points, blue for the king of mountain stages and the white worn by the best young rider.
The left sleeves bear the iconic Paul Smith stripes while the inside of the collar of the pink jersey features the signature of three-time Giro d’Italia winner Fiorenzo Magni, who died last October at the age of 91. Pedal over to Club 21 on the first floor of the Erawan Bangkok try one on yourself.

Cute and comfy
Camper has launched a line of footwear for the tiniest of feet.
Twins for Babies are designed with cupcakes and cute rabbits. The Pelotas Persil sneakers deliver old-school style and performance. And Ous is the lightweight sandal for little adventurers with adjustable straps for growing feet.
See how they fit at Camper boutiques in CentralWorld, the Emporium, Central Chidlom and Siam Paragon.

Inky aroma
Jean Paul Gaultier welcomes summer with fresh fragrances for his Classique and Le Male lines.
The lady-shaped Classique bottle is tattooed with enchanting and imaginary creatures, which wrap themselves around its curves, offering hints of the fragrance from the moment the gaze falls beyond the bust.
The masculine Le Male bottle is emblazoned with eagle’s wings, defining the shapes of his prominent muscles. Press to spray at any leading department store.
