Trunk routes are more direct

I've kept a list since I was quite young of things about which I am ignorant. I then have tried to find explanations. Textbooks, encyclopaedia, seminars, peers, radio, television and in recent years the Internet have all helped. Infinitives, heart transpl

Keen on lifetime learning, I still find things to add to the list. The latest is why on earth it is necessary at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the “Airport of Smiles”, regardless of ticket class, to cram into a bus to travel to and from the aircraft when there are so many unused jetways and air bridges (“elephants’ trunks” as they’re apparently referred to in Thai).
I use the airport a lot, mostly on TG flights, and ask each time. There has never been a satisfactory answer, either from the aircraft crew or the ground staff. Textbooks, encyclopaedia, seminars, radio, television and even the Internet have failed me.
I implore readers to help take this one off my list.
