American brand Wrangler |Jeans has stocked Central World with a limited edition of Wrangler X Stamp denims. The slogan is “Find Your Edge”.
Wrangler Thailand is touting the latest collection with the help of new wave singer-songwriter Apiwat “Stamp” Eurthavornsuk.
“Central Marketing Group has distributed the Wrangler brand for 60 years,” says senior marketing manager Maysinee Wisitnorapatt. “We’ve developed designs for ‘travelling denim’, and this year is a good chance to collaborate with Stamp and introduce him as our first local presenter. His individuality matches our concept. He always wears jeans and a denim shirt both onstage and in daily life.”
“Travelling denim” refers to jeans as a sort of diary – every scratch and crease representing a good memory. Wrangler provides the “canvas” on which you can record your every experience – well-cut top-quality denim augmented with the elasticity of Spandex.
The latest line includes slim and skinny trousers, indigo and black shirts, and ultra-soft cotton T-shirts in black and white with prints on the front.
“Everything in this edition shows what I am,” Stamp says. “I have to thank Wrangler for giving me a chance to design my own jeans. I’m very glad and my mum is very proud. Wrangler gave me multiple choices in materials, patterns and hues and guided me as to which ones are best for me.”
“We discussed the design with Stamp and then gave him complete freedom,” Maysinee says. “He selected the button, the fabric and the pattern that he thought best reflect his character. In this way Stamp will help us expand our target group to a younger generation.”
Along with the usual Wrangler leather label, the jeans and shirts have Stamp’s guitar motif.
The T-shirts cost Bt790, the shirts Bt1,690 and the jeans Bt1,990. Grab a set at any leading department store. Get more details on the “WranglerThailand” page on Facebook.
