In his latest epistle, Eric Bahrt boasts that he hasn’t had the flu in the 30 years since he stopped being a drunk, a two-pack-a-day smoker and a glutton for fried chicken and hamburgers.
My question: Is he having any fun?
I drink six beers a day, smoke five cigars a day, and my favourite food is that fatty pork dish with the brown egg. I have the flu all the time. And you know what? It’s worth it.
I bet that 30 years ago Eric was as happy as I am today.
