Readers interested in Buddhism are urged to read the lead article in the recent issue of Time magazine with the photo of the Burmese monk Wirathu on the cover, captioned "The Face of Buddhist Terror".
Burmese Buddhists are currently demonstrating against the magazine, but readers would be advised to read the article themselves to make up their own minds about it. At the very least, it serves as a disturbing reminder that the cancer of sectarianism can infect the followers of any religion, however lofty and sublime the principles they profess.
