Our hosts are still the beautiful people we remember, yet the state of Karon Beach is lamentable. How has this been allowed to happen? I’m afraid this may be our last visit. We enjoy spending our hard-earned cash here, both inside and outside the wonderful resort where we are staying, but, alas, the heartfelt respect we are shown by the locals is not mirrored in the local administration’s disrespect for us in presenting the foreshore as they do. Please, someone, do something, for your community’s sake. There are many beautiful locations on this earth – your people deserve better and l fear for your future, which is so obviously reliant on tourism.
