Shame on you, Horace. Your wife Constance should lock you up in the garage again.
Instead of doing these horrific things to Edward Snowdon, after his warnings on the US’s espionage on European Union offices in the United States, Snowden should be rewarded by Europe with asylum valid in the whole European Union. The only danger of this would be that the CIA would snatch him in the first few days, before Brussels could bat an eyelid. The US was, of course, after economic secrets. That’s why they could leave out the Brits from the spying, because what would there be to spy on?
So what does Brussels do instead? It grounds the Bolivian president’s plane, trying to catch Snowdon. You couldn’t make it up if you had to.
